Ratancast Jewels Private Limited

We are based in the Cama Industrial Estate, right in the Sunmill Compound area of Lower Parel. Our unit is 106 on the first floor. Lower Parel has changed a lot over the years, but this industrial estate still has that old-school feel to it. Ratancast Jewels Private Limited is the name we use for our work. It’s a bit noisy around here with all the other workshops and small factories nearby, but we don't mind. It feels like a place where things actually get made. Our space is mostly taken up by machinery and casting equipment. It's not the kind of place where you’d find fancy sofas. We usually have a bit of dust on our clothes by the end of the day. The SJ Marg area is always crowded with delivery vans and people rushing around. We've been in this spot for a while and know most of the other guys in the building. We just focus on getting our casting work done right. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch, but that's just how the jewellery business goes. It’s a hands-on job and we like the physical aspect of it. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not about being the biggest, it’s just about getting the job finished properly before the sun goes down. The traffic in the evenings is usually the worst part of the day, so we try to time our exit to avoid the biggest rush on the street.
