Raskin Arts

You’ll find Raskin Arts at number 3 in the Papa Industrial Estate. It’s on Suren Road, right across from the Residency Hotel in Andheri East. This part of Andheri is always moving fast. We do a lot of creative work and printing here. It’s a bit of a mix between an office and a workshop. We have some machines for the art side of things and desks for the planning. It’s not very big, but we make it work. The walls have some of our old projects tacked up just to keep track of what we've done. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and someone will be there working on a computer or checking a print. It gets busy during the middle of the week. Being near the hotel helps people find us easily. We spend our time making sure the colors look right and the designs are what was asked for. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers. We’ve been in this estate for quite some time now. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s when we usually take a break. It’s a grounded way to work. We don't use any fancy language to talk about our art. We just produce it and hope the customer is happy with it. It’s a good spot to be in for this kind of work and the neighbors are alright too.
