Ramnath Decorating

Our shop is sitting right on Station Road in Kalyan City, just across from the Platinum Banquet hall. It’s a small place in Sneha Apartment but it stays busy because of the location. Being near the station means there is always a lot of noise and people moving past our door all day long. We have been doing decorations for a long time now. Usually, our floor is covered in bits of ribbon or cloth because we are always putting something together for a client. It’s not a very tidy place but that’s because there is work happening constantly. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult when we have to transport stuff but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We know most of the shopkeepers around here and it feels like a real community. People just drop in to ask about prices or to see what kind of fabric we have in stock for their family functions. We don't use a lot of fancy computers or anything to manage the business. We mostly write things down in a big ledger and keep track of everything that way. My cousins help out when it gets really busy during the wedding season. It can get a bit hectic in Kalyan especially when the trains are running late and our deliveries are stuck in the traffic. But we just keep going and get the job done regardless of the stress. That is how we have always operated at Ramnath Decorating.
