Raja Farsan

You can find us at Plot No. S-1 in the Divin Center which is right across from Ambedkar School in Mahim East. It is a busy corner and we have been making farsan and snacks here for a long time. The shop is often filled with the smell of spices and fresh frying which is what draws most people in. We do not have a fancy interior or a big marketing budget. It is just a small space where we prepare everything by hand and pack it into bags for the customers. During the festival seasons it gets incredibly crowded and we are usually working through the night to keep up with the demand. Sometimes we run out of space to store the containers and things look a bit cluttered. We do not have a corporate office or anyone to handle social media for us. Most of our customers are locals who stop by after school or on their way home from work. We know most of them by face and they know they can get fresh snacks from us every day. It is a lot of hard work standing over the heat but we enjoy seeing people like what we make. Sometimes we make mistakes and a batch does not come out perfect but we always try to make it right. It is just a local shop doing its best.
