Raj Foods & Sweets

We are located in Bhandup West, just a regular shop sitting on the street. We do a mix of things here, mostly traditional sweets and some snacks for the locals. Every morning we start very early to get the display cases ready for the day. The smell of sugar and ghee is always there in the air. It is a bit of a small space, so it gets tight when there are more than a few people inside at once. We have the usual stuff like laddoos and barfis sitting behind the glass. People come in for a quick snack or to buy a box of sweets for a house visit. We also have some savory items if you are not into sweet things. The counter is old and has a few scratches from all the years of use. Bhandup is a crowded place and our shop is right in the middle of all the noise. We do not use any fancy packaging, just the regular cardboard boxes and paper bags. Sometimes the stove in the back takes a while to heat up, which slows us down a bit. It is mostly just family members working here. We know who likes what and we try to keep the popular items as fresh as we can. It is nothing special to look at from the outside, but we have been serving the folks around here for quite some time now. We just do our work.
