R K Event & Exhibition

You can find R K Event & Exhibition over at Office No 1 near the Nayadu Colony Circle. It’s a small place but it serves us well. Most of our time is spent out of the office, though. We are usually at some venue or another, moving boxes or setting up stages. When we are actually at the office, it’s mostly to handle the paperwork or take calls. The circle outside is always busy, so there is a lot of honking that we hear all day long. We started this because we liked the rush of putting together an event. It’s a lot of physical labor that people don't always see. We have a few old chairs and a desk that has seen better days. We don’t really care about having a polished look. We just care that the trucks arrive on time and the equipment works. Sometimes things go wrong, like a light bulb blowing out or a curtain being the wrong color. We just deal with it as it comes. It’s a practical business. We’ve lived around here for a long time, so we know most of the vendors in the area. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work and hoping for good weather when we have an outdoor setup. We just keep going, one event at a time, and try to keep things organized. Usually, there are several crates stacked up against the wall waiting for the next truck.
