R K Entertainments & Events is tucked away in Andheri at 1003/T-34. Working in Mumbai, especially in a place like Andheri, means everything is always on the move. Our office is more like a hub where we coordinate things rather than a place where we sit all day. We deal with all sorts of events, from small family get-togethers to larger community gatherings. It’s a lot of phone calls and making sure the decorators and caterers are on the same page. The space here is a bit cramped because we have files and event plans scattered everywhere. We’ve been doing this for some time now, so we know the local vendors pretty well. It isn't always smooth sailing; sometimes a supplier is late or the weather doesn't play nice, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency out there. We just want to get the job done so the person who hired us doesn't have to worry. If you are looking for us, the address can be a little tricky to find in the maze of T-34, but once you’re here, it’s just us working through our checklists. The tea from the local vendor downstairs keeps us going during the long nights of planning. It’s a simple setup, but it’s where all the ideas happen before the actual event day arrives. We keep our heads down and focus on the work. We've had some long days and even longer nights, but that is the nature of the events business in this city. We don't mind the hustle.
