Punjab Rubber Works

Punjab Rubber Works is located over in Kandivali West, specifically in A Wing, Flat No 2 of Shyam Sarji. We are near Panacea Hospital and close to the Y B Chavan Marathi School in Vinayaka Layout. It might seem a bit odd to have a rubber business in a residential-looking building, but we make it work in our small unit. The space is mostly filled with various rubber molds and raw materials. We spend our days cutting, shaping, and pressing rubber into different shapes for industrial use. The air usually has that heavy, burnt smell that comes with processing rubber. It’s a quiet enough area during the day, except when the school lets out and the kids are everywhere. We deal with seals, gaskets, and all those small parts people don't think about until they break. The flat is a bit cramped with all the machinery and boxes stacked up to the ceiling. It is just a few of us here making sure the orders are done right. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. Most of our time is spent checking the quality of the batches. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets a bit much, but we just open the windows and keep going. The neighbors in the other flats are mostly used to us being here by now, though we try not to make too much noise in the early mornings. We have to be careful about how much stock we keep in the flat.
