Prominent Fabrics Llp

We’ve been set up here at Kewal Industrial Estate for a while now. It’s right on Senapati Bapat Marg in Lower Parel, which means it’s always loud outside with the traffic and people moving around. Our spot is B 455. If you come by, you’ll see we have stacks of fabric everywhere. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just where we do the work. The elevators in the building can be a bit slow some days, especially when everyone is trying to move goods at the same time. We spend most of our mornings checking what came in and what needs to go out to customers. Lower Parel has changed a lot, with all the new malls and offices, but this industrial estate still feels like the old Mumbai. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a few fans going. There is a small tea stall nearby where we get our cutting chai. Sometimes the paperwork gets piled up on the desk, but we manage to stay on top of things. We just focus on getting the fabrics sorted and sent off. It’s a straightforward business, really. No big corporate meetings here, just a handful of us making sure the orders are right and the quality is what it should be. The floors are concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us and our customers.
