If you go behind the old Sion Fort, you’ll find the Nirmal Industrial Estate. We are in unit B-3. It’s a bit tucked away, so if you aren’t looking for Priyanka Pharma, you probably won’t stumble across us. The building is older, and you can see the history in the walls and the narrow staircases. Being in Sion East means we are right in the middle of everything, but once you step inside the estate, it feels a bit quieter. We do pharmaceutical work, which means everything has to be kept a certain way, even if the building itself looks a bit worn on the outside. We have a small team. There’s no big HR department or fancy coffee machines. We just have a kettle and some packets of biscuits for the afternoon. Sometimes you can hear the birds near the fort, which is nice when the machines aren't running. It’s a practical setup. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure boxes are stacked correctly. The monsoon is always a bit of a worry because of the drainage in this part of town, but we manage. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of employees. It’s just a handful of us making sure the daily tasks are finished. It’s honest work in a part of Mumbai that still feels like the old days. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
