Presious Moulds

We are located in Gala number one at Mary Society in the Krishna area of Andheri East. It is a typical industrial gala setup where we have our machinery and tools. The space is quite high so we can stack things up but it is not very wide. Most of the time we are busy with the moulds and you can hear the sound of metal hitting metal. It is a noisy neighborhood with other workshops all around us. We have grease on our hands and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep it. That is just the nature of the work we do here. There is a small sink in the corner where we wash up before lunch. We get our food from a local mess nearby and eat right at the workbench sometimes. The lighting is mostly tube lights because the windows are small and high up. It gets really humid in Andheri during the monsoon and the walls sometimes get damp. We do not have a fancy office area, just a small stool and a ledge where we keep the ledger books. People find us by asking around in the society because the gala numbers are not always in order. We have been here for a long time and we know all the other gala owners. It is a lot of hard work and long hours but it is what we know how to do. We just keep the machines running and finish the jobs.
