Pravin Lighting Decorators

My name is Pravin and I run this lighting and decorating thing out of Santacruz East. We are located near Hanuman Tekdi, right by Gate Number 2 in the Vadwala Dehla area. It’s a bit of a crowded spot but we’ve made it our home for quite some time now. Dealing with lights and decorations means we always have wires and bulbs lying around everywhere. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes but we know where everything is. We don’t have a big corporate team. It’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers who know the ropes. We spend a lot of our time out on sites, setting things up, then coming back here to fix what got broken. The shop isn't much to look at, just a place to store our gear and talk to customers. People in Lok S know us mostly by word of mouth. We don’t do any fancy advertising. If someone needs lights for a function, they just come by the gate and ask for us. Sometimes the power goes out in the area and we just sit around and talk until it comes back. It’s a simple life. We work hard when there’s a festival or a wedding coming up. The rest of the time we just keep the equipment ready. It’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the rain gets in through the door if we aren't careful, but we’ve learned to deal with that over the years.
