It is a lively area, especially when school starts or lets out and the street gets full of kids and parents. I have been working as an architect and doing interior design from this spot for quite some time now. The office is usually a bit of a mess with fabric samples, wood chips, and floor plans spread across the tables. That is just how the creative process looks sometimes. People come in wanting to change their kitchens or redo their whole living rooms, and we sit down and try to figure out what works for them. I spend a lot of time on the phone with contractors or out at different sites checking on progress. It is a lot of legwork, but it is better than just sitting behind a desk all day long. We keep things pretty informal here and just talk to people like neighbors and friends, which makes the whole process a lot more comfortable for everyone.
