Our base is at the Raje Sambhaji Hall in Arunodaya Nagar. We are located right on Veer Savarkar Marg, which is a pretty well-known road in Mulund East. Having the Sambhaji Maidan right nearby is great because there is a lot of open space and people are always around. We handle the catering and the decorating for the events that happen here. It is a lot of physical work, moving chairs, setting up tables, and getting the lights right. The hall gets booked for all sorts of things, so we are often there late at night or very early in the morning. Mulund East is a nice neighborhood, and we have been part of the local scene for years. When there is a big function, the whole place smells like food being cooked. We do not use any fancy systems to manage things. It is mostly just us and a few helpers making sure everything is where it should be. The decorations can be a bit tricky depending on what people want, but we figure it out as we go. Sometimes things do not go exactly as planned, maybe a cloth is wrinkled or a light bulb burns out, but we fix it quickly. It is a busy life, especially during the wedding season. We enjoy the chaos of a big event. It is just about getting the job done so the families can have their day at the hall.
