Pranam

Pranam is located in Room No 2 of the Darpan Society in Vile Parle West. It's a small room, but it’s ours. We’re right opposite the Riddhi Siddhi Bungalow, which is a big help because most people get turned around in the lanes of Shah Vile Parle. The society is quiet for the most part, except for the occasional car horn. Inside our room, it’s a bit of a squeeze. We’ve got desks pushed against the walls and stacks of old ledgers that we probably should have archived years ago. We don’t have a big staff or a human resources department. It’s just us. We handle the daily tasks as they come in. Some days are slow and we just drink a lot of tea and talk about the cricket scores. Other days, we’re running around trying to keep up. We don't have a mission statement or any of that fancy corporate talk. We just try to be helpful to anyone who stops by Room No 2. The door handle sticks a little bit, so you have to give it a good tug. It’s those little things that make the place feel like home. We’ve been here a long time and we don’t plan on going anywhere. It’s an honest, small-scale operation, and we like it that way. We aren't looking to grow into a massive company or something like that. We just keep working.
