Our office is tucked away in the B.D.D Chawl area of Lower Parel. Specifically, we are in Room No 19 on the ground floor of building number 29. It’s right on Sakhubai Mohite Marg, which stays pretty busy with locals and people heading to the Bawala Masjid nearby. Working in a chawl gives the business a very different feel than being in a modern office park. You’re right there on the street level where everything is happening. Poorn Mercantile Llp has been part of this neighborhood's fabric for a bit. The walls are thick, and the room isn't huge, but we make every inch count for our mercantile operations. People often stop by just because we are so easy to find on the ground floor. It can get a little noisy when the traffic picks up or during prayer times at the masjid, but that’s just part of life here in Mumbai. We don’t bother with fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We have our desks, our ledgers, and a place to sit for anyone who drops in. It’s an honest, hard-working environment. The history of Lower Parel is all around us, from the old mills to the new developments, but we stay grounded in our little corner. It’s a practical spot for a mercantile business that doesn’t need all the extra fluff or corporate attitudes. We just open the door in the morning and get to work on our daily tasks.
