Our office is based in Andheri East, right in the thick of all the activity there. Platinum Advertising is a small outfit, and we’ve been operating out of this area for a good while. Advertising is a weird business because some days we have absolutely nothing to do and then the next day everyone is shouting because a deadline is coming up. We spend a lot of time sitting around a big table coming up with ideas or staring at designs on the screen. The office in Andheri East isn't anything fancy, just a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of paper. We like being in this part of town because everything we need is close by, even if the traffic is a nightmare most of the time. We aren't one of those big agencies with hundreds of employees; we’re just a small group that works hard on every project that comes through the door. Usually, there's some music playing in the background to help us focus, and we drink way too much coffee. It’s a simple setup. We don't try to sound more important than we are. We just take the work as it comes and try to make something that looks decent. It can be stressful, but it’s also quite satisfying when a project finally goes live and we can move on to the next thing. Sometimes we stay late to finish things off.
