Our office is up on the fourth floor of Landmark B on Suren Road. If you know Andheri East, you know how the traffic gets on the Andheri Kurla Road. It is a constant hum of cars and rickshaws outside our window. We are right in the middle of all that noise. Most of our day is spent coordinating things for the plastics industry. It is not just about one product; it is a whole network of people making everything from simple pipes to complex medical packaging. We keep track of a lot of moving parts from this desk. There are always stacks of folders on the desks and people coming in for meetings about upcoming trade shows. The building itself is one of those standard business blocks you see all over this part of Mumbai. It gets really crowded in the lobby during the lunch rush. We usually grab something quick from a stall nearby or just eat at our desks while finishing up late emails. Managing a foundation like this involves a lot of back-and-forth with different companies across the country. We have to stay on top of what is happening in the factories and the shipping yards. It is busy work, and there is rarely a quiet moment in the afternoon. Sometimes the elevators take a long time, so we just have to be patient. Working here means you are always in the thick of the industrial world. We do not do anything too flashy here.
