Pioneer Lime & Minerals

Pioneer Lime & Minerals is based in Borivali East on the first floor of the Raj Hill building. We are at B/14 and you can pretty much see the Vitthal Mandir from near our entrance. We have been dealing with lime and different types of minerals for quite a few years. It is a steady business and we don’t really go out of our way to make it look like something it isn't. The office is usually a bit dusty because of the samples we keep in the back, but that is just how it goes with this kind of material. We have a small staff of three people who handle the orders and the logistics of getting stuff delivered. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing out invoices on the old computer. The building itself is quite busy with other small businesses, so there is always someone coming or going in the hallway. We like being in this part of Mumbai because it is easy for our suppliers to reach us. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is coming in, but usually, we wrap things up by six. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just provide the minerals that people ask for and try to keep our records straight. It is a practical life and we have been doing it long enough to know the ropes pretty well.
