Phoenix Express

Phoenix Express operates out of the Fort area at Bazar Gate. Our office is on the first floor of building 110/112. The stairs are quite old and they make a lot of noise when people go up and down. Downstairs is the bazar, so there is always a lot of shouting and activity right outside our window. We handle a lot of packages and documents every day. The room is usually filled with cardboard boxes waiting to be sent out. We have a couple of scales for weighing things and a lot of tape. You can always hear the sound of packing tape being pulled. It is a busy environment and we are often rushing to meet delivery deadlines. The office gets quite warm in the summer because the building is old and doesn't have great ventilation. We use a couple of fans to keep the air moving. Most of our clients are businesses from the surrounding streets who need things moved quickly. We have been here at Bazar Gate for a long time. Everyone in the building knows us. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come in, you just walk right up to the desk. We work late into the evening making sure every parcel is sorted. It is hard work, but we are used to the pace by now.
