Pharmapack Industry

Pharmapack Industry is tucked away in the Ashok Industrial Estate. We are on the first floor, in Unit 125. It is right near the Shangrila on L. B. S Marg in Bhandup West. LBS Marg is always loud, and you can hear the horns and the buses from our windows all day. Being on the first floor is okay, but carrying heavy boxes up the stairs can be a real chore sometimes. Our space is filled with packaging materials and some older machinery. It smells like cardboard and packing tape most of the time we are here. We are a pretty small crew. We know each other's habits and routines pretty well by now. One person always makes the tea a bit too sweet for everyone else. Another is always checking the clock as soon as it gets close to lunch. We spend our hours making sure the packing is done right and the labels are straight. There isn't much room for just standing around. We have to keep things moving so the floor doesn't get too cluttered with stacks of boxes. Bhandup is a tough area for the commute, so we all talk about the trains or the traffic quite a lot. It’s just part of the life working here. We don't have a big corporate office or a fancy lobby for guests. It’s just the workshop and a small desk for the paperwork.
