Passim Medichem Agencies is located in Kandivali West, right across from the Jain temple. You can usually hear the temple bells ringing in the morning when we are opening up our shutters for the day. The space is always filled with stacks of boxes containing different medicines and chemical supplies. It gets to be a bit of a squeeze sometimes, especially when a new shipment arrives and we have to find room in the back to stack everything up. Being in B-1 is not a huge amount of space, but we make it work for us. Most of the time we are busy on the phone or going through long lists of what needs to be sent out to the local shops. The temple is a very good landmark because people often get confused trying to find this specific building in the lane. It is a busy neighborhood with people walking past our door all day long. We try to keep our things organized, but when it gets really busy, there are papers and folders all over the desk. The fans do not always handle the afternoon heat very well, so we often just prop the front door open to get a breeze. We have been in this part of the city for a while now. It is just us handling the daily stock and making sure the delivery van is loaded up correctly. It is a very simple operation.
