Parker Studio

Dadar West is a place where you always hear the trains passing by. We've been here for a while now, just doing our daily thing in this corner of the city. The space is not very large, but it fits what we need for the work we do. Sometimes the lights flicker when the heavy machinery next door starts up, but we've gotten used to it over the years. People walk in and out, asking for this and that, and we just try to help them out. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out the traffic noise from the main road. It gets quite dusty around here during the summer months, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the surfaces and our equipment. Most of our furniture is old, maybe older than some of the staff, but it holds up okay. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and find someone at a desk. It's practical and simple. We handle the tasks as they come, sometimes staying late if the work piles up. There’s a small tea stall just outside where we get our morning chai, which is a nice ritual for us. That’s pretty much how it goes here in Dadar. We keep the doors open when the weather is nice, though that isn't often. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to get things done without making too much of a fuss about it.
