Parita International

Our shop is at number 5 in building 577/579, right inside Khatau Mansion. It’s a good spot because we are right opposite Chandan Wadi in Marine Lines. You can usually feel a bit of a breeze coming off the water if you stand near the street. Parita International is a small place, honestly. We have boxes stacked in the corners because we never seem to have enough shelf space for all the things we want to keep in stock. The building itself is quite old, so it has that specific smell of old wood and stone. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the computer in the back. When people walk in, they often comment on how much stuff we’ve managed to fit into such a small room. We try to keep things organized, but when we get a big delivery, the floor gets covered in bubble wrap and paper for a few hours. It’s a bit chaotic, but we like it that way. We know most of the other people in Khatau Mansion. It’s a friendly enough place. We open the shutters early and stay late if there’s work to finish. No fancy decorations here, just the items we sell and the tools we use to do our jobs every day. It's just a regular workplace for us where we try to get things done without too much fuss.
