Param Pharma

We have been running Param Pharma for a good while now at Andheri East. Our shop is at number 5 on Paud Road, which is right near the Sona Udyog Industrial Estate. It’s a busy area and the noise from the factories is just something we live with every day. I usually arrive early to open the shutters and get the dust off the counters. The morning is mostly about checking what stock arrived late the night before. We have a lot of shelves to fill and it can be a bit of a struggle to keep everything in its right place. People from the industrial estate often pop in during their breaks. They might need something for a headache or just want to check if a prescription is ready. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful not to trip over boxes. My nephew helps me out on the weekends when it gets extra crowded. We don’t have any fancy computer systems for everything, so there’s a lot of writing in ledgers. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door, so we keep a bucket there. It’s just a regular life here. We aren't doing anything big or flashy. We just make sure the local workers and families have their medicines when they need them. It’s a lot of hours on our feet, but that is how a business like this works.
