Deepa Pharma

Deepa Pharma is located at 2 New Panvel, right on K M Lane. If you know the area, you know K M Lane can get pretty crowded. We’ve got our shop set up there, and it’s usually a hub of activity. Most days, we are busy sorting through boxes and checking expiry dates on the medicines. It’s a pharma business, so things have to stay pretty clean and orderly. New Panvel has grown a lot, and we see that in the number of people passing by every day. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from being in a spot where people need us. The lane is narrow, and sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time getting close, but we manage. Inside, it’s mostly shelves from floor to ceiling. It can get a bit cramped when a lot of stock arrives at once. We spend a lot of time on our feet. There’s not much time to sit down when people are waiting for their orders. We’ve got a few regulars who stop by to chat while they wait, which makes the day go faster. It’s just a standard local operation. We open the shutters in the morning and close them late. It’s honest work, and we just try to keep up with the demand in this part of Panvel. K M Lane is our home base. It is a simple life but it keeps us very busy.
