Panchratna Jalebi House

We are located over at Gorwa Laxmipura Road, specifically at 30-A near Nakulesh Park Society. It is a busy little corner and we have been here for quite some time now. Every morning starts pretty much the same way. We have to get the batter ready and make sure the sugar syrup is at the right consistency. It isn't a science, more like something you just feel after doing it for so many years. The heat from the large pans can be a bit much in the summer months, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't a big fancy restaurant with air conditioning or anything like that. It is just a simple house where we make jalebis. People from the society nearby often stop by in their slippers just to pick up a small bag for breakfast. We use old newspapers to wrap things sometimes or simple cardboard boxes if the order is big. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the frying to worry about that. Sometimes the traffic on the road gets really loud and dusty, but that is just part of being in this area. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know the routine. We don't really have a plan for the future other than showing up and lighting the stoves again tomorrow. It is just what we do at 30-A.
