Ozha Sweets Farsan

We are at Shop No 1 in the Vyas Building, located in Jogeshwari East. It’s a straightforward sweet and farsan shop. Most of our day is spent in the back where the big pans are. We make things in batches, so there is always something cooling on the racks. The building is an older one, and our shop has that lived-in look that comes from years of work. We aren't much for decorations; we just have the shelves filled with packets of farsan and the glass cases for the sweets. Jogeshwari East can be a bit crowded, and our sidewalk gets a lot of foot traffic. We see the same school kids and office workers every day. Sometimes the delivery bikes block the entrance, and we have to go out and ask them to move so customers can get in. It’s just part of the daily grind. We do all the cleaning ourselves, scrubbing the floors every night after we close the shutters. It’s not glamorous work, and our hands are usually covered in flour or sugar by midday. We don’t have a website or any of that, we just stay here and sell what we make. If something isn't right, we fix it. We just want to keep the shop running like it always has. People know they can find us in the Vyas Building if they need a snack. It’s an honest living and we just keep at it.
