Otisira Pharma

Our place is at No. 4 in Alam Nagar, which is right in the heart of Kalbadevi. If you know this part of town, you know how packed the streets get with people and handcarts moving things back and forth. Otisira Pharma isn't a huge setup, but we keep ourselves busy with all the different boxes and crates that come in every morning. Usually, the first thing we do is clear a path so we can actually see the desk. We handle a lot of different pharmaceutical items, so there is always a lot of paperwork and checking labels to make sure everything matches up. It’s a bit cramped sometimes because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand, but it’s better than running out when someone really needs something. The fans are always going because it gets pretty warm in these old buildings. We don't really do much advertising or anything, we just stay here and talk to the people who come in. Most of our day is just spent on the phone or checking the latest lists. Kalbadevi has its own rhythm, and we’ve just become a part of it over the years. It’s noisy outside with all the honking, but once you’re inside the shop, it’s just about getting the orders sorted and out the door. We’re just regular people trying to keep the shelves full and the accounts right as best as possible.
