Oriana Foods Private Limited

Our office is in Wadala East, Mumbai, right across from the New Cuffe Parade terminus. We are on the second floor of Shramjivan building, B-5, specifically in unit 212. If you know the Wadala Truck terminal area, you know it’s always crowded with big lorries and lots of dust. We’ve been here for a while now, tucked away in this busy part of the city. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially with the trucks revving their engines outside all the time. Our space is filled with boxes and samples of different food items. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and checking on shipments that come through the terminus. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to do it yet. We mostly focus on getting the food products moved from one place to another without too much fuss. There are four or five of us in the office most days. We usually order lunch from the small stall downstairs because their vada pav is decent. We don’t have fancy meetings or big presentations. Most of our day is spent making sure the numbers match and the bags are sealed properly. There is always some shouting going on between the drivers downstairs, which we've just gotten used to over the years. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way.
