Kasido Bags

Kasido Bags is based out of No. 619 in the Parekh Market. We are up on the 6th floor of the building, which is right by the Kennedy Bridge over at Opera House. Being on the 6th floor means we rely on the lift quite a bit, and it can be a slow wait when the building is busy with other tenants. The market area is incredibly crowded, especially with all the diamond and spare parts businesses nearby. Our space is mostly taken up by bags of all different types. We have them stacked up against the walls and sometimes even in the hallways when a big order comes in. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes. We spend a lot of time counting stock and checking zippers or handles to make sure everything is right. It’s a lot of manual work, and our hands are usually busy from morning till night. The view from the window is just other buildings and the busy street below. It gets very noisy with all the honking from Kennedy Bridge, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been in Parekh Market for years, and it feels like a second home to us. It’s a gritty, hardworking part of town, and we fit right in with the rest of the traders. We don't have a showroom, so most people who come up here are coming to pick up bulk orders.
