One Events

We are located in Kurla West, specifically at Ramwadi 17 1. The building is called Chandra Bhavan, and we’re in the Sainath C part of it. Kurla is always loud. There is no getting away from the noise of the traffic and people shouting on the street. But after you stay here for a while, you don't even notice it anymore. Chandra Bhavan is an old building. It has that smell of old concrete and rain during the monsoon. One Events is just what we do here. It’s me and a couple of others mostly. We have a lot of stuff piled up in the corners because we never seem to have enough storage space for our gear. Sometimes it takes me ten minutes just to find a stapler under all the files and papers. We don't have a big reception area or fancy chairs for visitors to sit in. Usually, people just pull up a plastic stool if they come by to talk about something. The electricity goes out sometimes in the afternoon, so we just sit by the window and wait for it to come back on. It's a bit of a squeeze when everyone is in the office at the same time. We’ve talked about moving to a bigger place but the rent in Mumbai is just too much. So, we stay here in Kurla West. It works for us for now, and the commute isn't too bad if you take the train early enough.
