If you ever find yourself walking down JSS Road in Girgaum, you might notice our place at 212 A. It’s Om International Courier & Cargo Services, though we usually just call it the shop. Girgaum is a busy area and JSS Road is always full of people rushing somewhere, so our front door is almost always swinging open. We’ve got stacks of wooden crates and heavy plastic wrap sitting around because we deal with a lot of cargo stuff. The floor is made of that old grey stone that stays cold even in the summer, which is nice when you’re tired. There isn’t much room to walk around when we have a big shipment coming in, so we mostly just navigate around the boxes. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the weather is humid and the boxes are heavy. We have a small corner with a computer that’s a bit slow, but it gets the job done for the tracking and the labels. People often stop in to ask for directions because the street numbers on JSS Road can be a bit confusing to some. We don’t mind helping out when we aren't tied up with a heavy load. It’s a gritty, busy kind of life here, but it’s what we know. The walls are covered in old calendars and notes we’ve scribbled to ourselves over the months. It’s just how we keep things organized in our own way.
