You can find Numero Uno Events & Entertainment at the Bawla Building over in Byculla. It’s an old building, the kind with thick walls and a lot of history. Being near the E Ward office means there is always something happening on the street outside. We do events and entertainment stuff from this small office. It’s often cluttered with folders and old event posters. Byculla has a specific feel to it, a bit different from the rest of Mumbai. It’s crowded and loud, but it feels like home to us. We don’t go for those high-end office parks. We prefer being here where we can see the city moving. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. Our team is small, just a couple of people who know how to get things done. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and checking on arrangements. It’s not always easy, especially when the traffic is bad and we have to get across town. We’ve had many long afternoons sitting here planning out functions. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re a giant corporation. We’re just local folks who know the event business well. The Bawla Building is easy to find if you’re in the neighborhood. We’ve been here long enough that the tea seller knows exactly how we like our drink. It’s just a regular life in a busy city. We keep things grounded and move one day at a time.
