Nova Arts

Nova Arts is located at 21, S.V. Road. If you know the area in Andheri West, you know we are right opposite the subway and very close to the Timber Market. Being near the Timber Market is handy because there’s always wood moving around this neighborhood. S.V. Road is one of those places that never really sleeps; there is always a car horn or a bus passing by. Our shop at Nova Arts is a bit of a refuge from that chaos, even if it is just a simple room filled with art and materials. We don't have a corporate office or a polished lobby. When you walk in, you’re likely to see someone in the middle of a project, maybe with paint on their hands or dust on their clothes. We handle various artistic bits and pieces, and the space reflects that. It’s a bit messy, with frames and supplies leaning against the walls. We’ve been near the subway for a long time, and we see thousands of people walk past every day. Only a few come in, and that’s fine with us. We like the quiet work of making things. The light in Andheri (W) can be quite bright in the mornings, hitting the front window just right. We don’t have a big philosophy or a fancy way of talking about what we do. We just open up the shop on S.V. Road and get to work on whatever is on the table that day.
