North East Sun Magazine

Our office is in Corporate Avenue, right in Jogeshwari East. It’s tucked inside the Anand Complex, just opposite the Shilp Building. If you know where the SBI is on C G Road, we are right near there. Being close to Jogeshwari Railway Station helps a lot because the commute in this city can be a real nightmare most days. North East Sun Magazine is a pretty small operation. We spend our days typing, editing, and talking about what’s happening in places far away. It’s a bit of a trek from the station, but we’re used to the walk by now. The office is number 118. It’s usually full of old copies of the magazine and stacks of paper waiting to be filed. We don't have a lot of extra space, but we make it work somehow. It gets a bit noisy with all the traffic outside, but once you start working, you sort of forget about it. We write about things that actually matter to us and the people we know. It’s a lot of hard work getting a new issue ready for print. Sometimes we stay quite late when the deadline is breathing down our necks. We aren't some big media house with hundreds of employees in suits. It's just a few of us here trying to tell honest stories. We've seen the area around Anand Complex change a lot over the years. There are more buildings and more cars every month. But we stay focused on the pages.
