Nirmal Sweets

Nirmal Sweets is sitting right here in Shop No 1 of the Sunita building. We are located on Jivdaya Lane, which most people know is just off Salopos Road in Ghatkopar West. It is a busy little corner of the neighborhood. I usually get to the shop before the sun is even up to start getting everything ready for the day. The lane starts getting really crowded by eight or nine in the morning. People are always rushing toward the H O or just going about their daily errands. We have been in this exact spot for quite some time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. You see the same faces every single day, which is one of the nicer parts of working here. Sometimes the kids from the nearby houses come in just to look at the different trays. We do not have a big corporate team or anything fancy like that. It is just a few of us behind the counter. The shop isn't very big, so things can get a bit tight when there is a line of people waiting. We try to keep things moving so no one gets too frustrated in the heat. There is always a lot of cleaning to do, especially with all the sugar and flour we handle. It is hard work, and my back usually hurts by the end of my shift, but that is just how it is. We keep the trays full and wait for the next person.
