Nikita Plus

If you are looking for Nikita Plus, you have to head into the heart of Zaveri Bazar. We are in an old building called Rukhmani Niwas at 298 Shaikh Memon Street. You’ll find us on the 1st floor in room number 2. The stairs are a bit narrow, like most of the buildings around here, and the whole street is usually buzzing with people and handcarts moving through the lanes. It’s a very old part of Mumbai, and it feels like history is built into the walls of the place. Our room is small but we make the most of the space we have. It’s usually filled with the sound of the market outside, which never really seems to get quiet. We spend our hours doing our work and talking to the people who stop by. Being in Zaveri Bazar means you’re always in the middle of the action, even if you’re just tucked away in a first-floor room. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. We have our desks, our stock, and a place to make some tea. Most of our neighbors have been here for decades, and there’s a sense of familiarity that you don't get in the newer parts of the city. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to the way things work in this building over the years.
