Nicholas Piramal (Wellspring)

We operate from 15/17 Khokawala Shed, which is tucked away on 1st Marine Cross Lane in the Dhobitalao area of Mumbai. It is a very old and crowded part of the city, which gives it a lot of character. We are part of the Nicholas Piramal Wellspring group, but our day-to-day life is centered right here in this shed. It does not look like much from the outside, but inside we have everything we need to manage our side of the pharmaceutical business. The lane is usually full of people, carts, and noise, which is just how Mumbai is. Our office is functional and a bit cramped, with desks pushed together and shelves full of paperwork and samples. We don't have a fancy lobby or a view of the ocean. We just have a solid place to work. We spend our time coordinating with different departments and making sure our records are accurate. The humidity can be tough, especially when we have a lot of physical work to do in the storage areas. We have been in Dhobitalao for quite some time, and we have learned how to navigate the busy streets and the local rhythm. It is not a glamorous job, but it is important, and we take it seriously. We do not use a lot of corporate talk here. We just focus on the logistics and the tasks that need to be finished by the end of the day. It is a steady, busy environment where we just get things done.
