Down in Goregaon West, we have our place. It’s called Niche Events Promotions Pvt Ltd. The address is a bit of a mouthful—Shetphal Gadhe Plot No 55/443 in Motilal Nagar. Motilal Nagar is a sprawling area with lots of little lanes and similar-looking houses. Even after being here for years, I sometimes take a wrong turn if I’m not paying attention. Our office is a small ground-floor space. It’s quite old and the ceiling is a bit low in places. I have to remind the taller guys to watch their heads when they walk near the back beam. We have a lot of boxes stacked up because we do a lot of promotions and there is always leftover stuff like flyers, banners, or t-shirts. The air is always a bit humid here, so we keep the fans on full speed all day. It makes it hard to hear on the phone sometimes, but it’s better than sweating through your shirt. We don't have any polished marble floors or glass partitions. Just wooden desks that have seen better days and a few chairs that squeak whenever you sit down. We usually have lunch together around a big table in the middle of the room. It’s a simple setup for a simple business. We just do our bit here in Goregaon and try to stay out of the rain during the monsoon season.
