Nexus Impex

Nexus Impex is located in Girgaon, specifically at Kumbara Wada 16/26. This part of Mumbai is famous for its pottery and small workshops, so it’s a very traditional and busy area. We handle import and export stuff from here, which means we’re constantly dealing with customs papers, shipping agents, and local transporters. The office is small and tucked away in an old building where the stairs are a bit steep and narrow. There’s always the sound of people working outside and the smell of clay from the potters nearby. We don't have much space, so every corner is filled with folders or some goods we’re preparing to send out. It’s a lot of back-and-forth on the phone with people at the docks. We usually have our tea from the guy at the corner who knows exactly how much sugar we like. Working in Girgaon means you have to be okay with the noise and the crowds, but it’s a good place for a business like ours because we’re close to everything. We don’t put on any airs or pretend to be some huge international firm. We’re just a small outfit making sure our clients get their goods on time without too much trouble at the port. Some days the paperwork feels like it’s going to bury us, but we just take it one container at a time and keep moving.
