Next Art

Our little spot is located at 50/21 in the Yash Mandir Cooperative society. It’s in Andheri West, right near the Versova Telephone Exchange, which is usually how we tell people to find us. Next Art isn't some big, flashy studio with a fancy sign. It’s more of a practical space where we can focus on our work without too many distractions. Being near the exchange means it’s a pretty well-known landmark, so that helps. The neighborhood is okay, a bit of a mix of residential and small businesses. Inside, we’ve got our setups arranged in a way that makes sense for us, even if it looks a bit crowded to someone else. We spend a lot of hours here, sometimes staying late when there’s a lot to finish. The walls have a few things pinned up, mostly just notes and some sketches we’re working on. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, honestly. We don’t wear suits or anything like that. Usually, it’s just jeans and t-shirts while we sit at our desks. There’s a small balcony where we can step out for a minute to get some air, though you mostly just see the tops of cars and people walking to the exchange. It’s just a quiet corner of Andheri where we do our thing. We’ve been here long enough that we know the guys at the local tea stall by name, and that’s just fine with us.
