New Hind Pharma

You can find us over at 14 Cotton Exchange in Motilal Nagar. We are right near Pooja Restaurant, so we get to smell their cooking all afternoon. It’s a bit of a distraction when you haven't had lunch yet. New Hind Pharma has been in this building for many years. It’s an old place with high ceilings and some creaky floorboards. We mainly deal with pharmaceutical supplies for the local area. Most of my day is spent checking invoices and making sure the delivery drivers know where they are going. The Cotton Exchange is a landmark around here, so people don’t usually have trouble finding us. It gets very crowded on the street outside with all the tempos and bikes. I’ve worked here since I was much younger, starting as a helper. Now I run the daily operations. We have a small crew and we all know our jobs. There isn't much room for a proper break area, so we usually just have our tea standing up near the back window. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get it done. We focus on keeping the inventory right and helping the walk-in customers. It is a steady job and the neighbors are all friendly enough. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily list of tasks every single week.
