New Empire Chemist

We have been running New Empire Chemist out of Shop No 3 in Empire House for a good number of years now. Most people around here recognize us because the shop is right there on S V Road, directly across from the Irla Petrol Pump in Vile Parle West. It gets pretty noisy and crowded with all the Mumbai traffic outside, but we just get on with things. We handle all the usual medicine orders and the daily stuff people need. The shop is quite small and definitely not fancy, but we make sure the shelves are kept full. On rainy days, the sidewalk gets a bit of a mess, but customers still find their way in. We see a lot of the same people from the neighborhood every week. It is a basic chemist shop, nothing more. We open up early and stay until the evening lights are on. It is an easy landmark if you are driving past the petrol pump. There isn't much to say really, we are just here doing the daily work. You probably noticed the sign while waiting in traffic on S V Road. It’s just a convenient stop for anyone living around Vile Parle. We don’t have some big corporate office, just a couple of us behind the wooden counter. Sometimes the phone rings too much, but we try to answer. If you need something, you just walk right in. We don't do the online thing much. It is more of a walk-in place for the locals. That is how it goes here.
