L. Nanalal Brothers

If you have ever been down to Narshi Natha Street, you know how busy it gets around here. Our office, L. Nanalal Brothers, is located in room 303 of the New Anant Bhuvan building. It’s a bit of a maze getting up here if it is your first time. The street outside is usually blocked with trucks and people carrying bundles, so you have to be careful where you step. We have been operating out of No. 257/65 for quite some time now. The building has that old smell of paper and dust, which I actually quite like. It feels like real work is happening. Inside our space, there are piles of ledgers and samples everywhere. We don’t really bother with decorating because we are too busy keeping track of everything. My brother and I sit across from each other and mostly just argue about where we put the latest invoices. It’s not a corporate office by any means. We have an old fan that makes a clicking noise and a small window that doesn't show much of the sky. But it is our spot. We know the neighbors and the tea stall guy knows exactly how we like our drinks. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see what the day brings us.
