Narix Pharmaceuticals Private Limited

Narix Pharmaceuticals is based right in the middle of all the noise at Crawford Market. We are up on the first floor in Godown 13 at Mohatta Market. If you’ve ever walked down Musafirkhana Road, you know how crowded it gets with people and carts everywhere. It’s a bit of a maze getting up to our actual spot, and the stairs are quite narrow. It’s an old building but it’s right where the action is. We spend our mornings taking deliveries and the long afternoons sorting through piles of boxes. It gets very hot in the summer months, but we have a couple of old ceiling fans that keep the air moving a bit. There is always a lot of shouting and horns honking from the street below, which is just part of being in Fort. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting room for guests. It’s mostly just metal shelves and stacks of medical supplies. We drink a lot of tea from the small stall downstairs while we go over our stock lists and receipts. Moving things in and out of a godown takes some real muscle and a lot of patience. It’s not the kind of place you see in movies about big medicine companies. It’s just a practical, slightly messy space for us to do our jobs. We know the other shopkeepers around here pretty well. Sometimes we have to wait for the stairs to clear before we can carry a heavy crate down to the street. It's just how things work in this part of Mumbai.
