You will find us at Surve Nivas in Maruti Nagar, right in the Kalwa area of Thane. Nageshwar Mandap Decorates & D J Sound System has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. We are situated near the New Kalwa High School, so we often hear the school bells and the kids while we are working in the shop. Our place is usually packed with mandap poles, colorful fabrics, and big speakers. It is a bit crowded in there, and sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what we are looking for, but we always do eventually. Dealing with decorations and DJ setups means there is always something to move or fix. We are not a polished office; we are a working shop in Maruti Nagar. Being in the 400605 area, we mostly help out with local festivals and family weddings. It is hard work, especially during the busy seasons when we are barely home to sleep. We just focus on getting the mandap built and the music playing right for the guests. We do not have any fancy brochures. People usually just find us because they saw our work at a neighbor's house or they live nearby in Kalwa. We are just local people doing a job we know well. If you are passing by Surve Nivas, you will likely see us loading up the truck for the next gig. It is a noisy life, but it suits us.
