N J & Sons

We are tucked away in Shop No 55 at Ghodapdev. If you know Masjid Bunder West near Reay Road, you know how busy it gets around here. N J & Sons has been in this spot for a good while now. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the stock piled up, but we make it work. Most days start pretty early because the trucks come in and the noise never really stops. My father started things here and now we just keep it going as best as we can. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning or anything like that. Just some desks, a lot of files, and people coming in and out all day long asking for this or that. Sometimes the traffic on Reay Road is so bad you can't even hear yourself think, but that's just part of being in this part of town. We mostly just focus on getting the orders sorted and making sure the crates are where they need to be. It’s honest work. We drink a lot of chai from the stall next door to keep our energy up. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to stop. Usually, we are here until the shutters go down late in the evening. It’s just how it is for a small family business in a place like this.
