Rex International

Our office is located at number 8 in the Kamla Nehru Shopping Centre, which is right on N. S. Road in Mulund West. If you know this building, you know it has been around for a long time and the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you are carrying heavy stuff. We are mostly busy with paperwork and moving boxes in and out of the small storage area we have in the back. The name Rex International sounds big, but we are just a few people working in a crowded room with a lot of files and a computer that takes forever to start up in the morning. Mulund West is a crowded area, so there is always the sound of horns and people talking right outside our windows. We usually have our lunch at our desks while we talk about what needs to be shipped next. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to actually get it done. We have a lot of items coming in and going out, so the floor is rarely clear of packing tape or bubble wrap. It is a practical way of working and we don't worry too much about the decor as long as the work gets done. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost looking for the shopping centre, so we end up standing on the street waving them down. It’s a lot of mundane tasks but it keeps us busy every day.
