Mukesh Marbles & Minerals Company

Our place, Mukesh Marbles & Minerals Company, is right at 16 Chinch Bunder. We are just across the street from the Dongri Municipal Market. It is a very old part of town, so it is always loud and crowded with people buying vegetables and everything else. We deal with various minerals and marble pieces. It is a heavy business, quite literally. Most of our time is spent moving stones around or talking to suppliers. The office has been here for a long time. It smells like stone dust and old ledgers. We do not have a big sales team. It is usually just a few of us. People come to us when they are building or fixing up a place and need specific minerals or a certain type of marble. We show them what is available in the back. It is not a fancy showroom with air conditioning; it is more of a warehouse feel. Sometimes the traffic in front of the market makes it hard for trucks to get in, which can be frustrating. We just deal with it. We have learned to work around the market hours. We do not promise anything we cannot do. If we have the stone, we tell you. If we do not, we might know who does. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized in the middle of all the Dongri chaos. It is a tough business but we are used to it.
